V Board Protectors For Trailer Loads Of Bricks
When bricks are loaded onto flatbed trucks, they present a real danger to people. If one brick slips or is removed, the entire load is at risk of collapsing. In addition, bricks, cinderblocks, paver blocks, and the like are sharp at the edges and can easily cut tarps and tie-down straps, as well as injure handlers and passerby. Use V board brick guard edge protectors to ensure that this will not be the case.
Block Load Edge Guards
A brick protector encases freight in a safe envelope. It covers the edges of the load to make a smooth flooring for tarps and straps and it drops down the sides to prevent stray block escapees.
Brick guard rails are great for insulating soft, fragile loads like sod rolls, hay, and foam, which can otherwise crumble from impact or the stress of tight straps. They work on flatbed loads as well as any load on any other vehicle. In addition to obvious cargo and strap safety benefits, V board brick guards offer the advantage of fulfilling the requirement to use an edge protection that 'resists abrasion, cutting, and crushing' in a case where 'a tie-down would be subject to abrasion or cutting at the point where it touches an article of cargo'.
