When To Use Vertical E-Track In Your Trailer

This painted e-track rail is designed for vertical placement along the walls or your interior trailer, with anchor points that run parallel to the rail itself spaced at 2" intervals. As opposed to horizontal E-Track, which runs along the width of your trailer wall, vertical etrack provides anchor points from top to bottom to keep cargo in place. The narrow profile of this E-Track allows you to place it in the corner of your trailer, and permits e-track D-rings to be mounted perpendicular to the floor.

The steel is finished with a specially formulated black paint, formed from a polymer resin mixture which is melted, cooled, and then ground into a powder residue. This creates a hard black powder coating which is smooth and shiny, yet extremely dense and resistant to break-down.

Also consider the layout of your trailer, and note any fixed objects such as wheel wells, support studs, cabinets or doors, so that you can plan the design of your tie down system design around these elements.

To attach this painted e-track to the wall, use ¼" self-threading screws and place them into the pre-drilled holes. You should attach the E-Track with a screw at every 3rd, 4th or 5th hole on both sides. Keep in mind that your e-track is only as strong as the way it is mounted, and if possible you should try to fasten at least some of your vertical e-track directly over the studs in your trailer wall.
