Black Vertical E-Track Rail

Ideal for securing packages, boxes, pallets and crates, this rail is a smart way to complete your E-Track tie down system. Find all the e-track parts you need that fit your budget and your truck at DC Cargo Mall. Buy 4,5, 8 or 10 foot e-tracks, along with tie down straps and fittings to create anchor points in a configuration that works for you. This E-Track will provide the no-shift securing system that your load needs to stay protected during transport.

When To Use Vertical E-Track In Your Trailer

This painted e-track rail is designed for vertical placement along the walls or your interior trailer, with anchor points that run parallel to the rail itself spaced at 2" intervals. As opposed to horizontal E-Track, which runs along the width of your trailer wall, vertical etrack provides anchor points from top to bottom to keep cargo in place. The narrow profile of this E-Track allows you to place it in the corner of your trailer, and permits e-track D-rings to be mounted perpendicular to the floor.

Painted E-Track Gives Your Cargo Trailer A Distinctive Finish

This cargo trailer etrack is constructed from high gauge steel, made to last and withstand heavy use. The steel is finished with a specially formulated black paint, formed from a polymer resin mixture which is melted, cooled, and then ground into a powder residue. This powder coating is sprayed on the E-Track rail via static electricity, then placed into a curing oven where the heat caused the coating to form a molecular bond with the steel. This creates a hard black powder coating which is smooth and shiny, yet extremely dense and resistant to break-down.

The strength and function of this tie down rail is the same as the 10' steel vertical e-track, but the unique black finish will give the inside of your trailer a sleek and distinctive look. This painted e-track won't chip or scratch, keeping your enclosed trailer's E-Track system looking sharp for years.

Installing An E-Track System In Your Enclosed Trailer

This black enclosed trailer E-Track can be paired with load bars, tie down straps, and various E-Track hooks, clips and brackets to create a unique, customized E-Track tie down system.

How do you install vertical e-track in your enclosed van trailer? First you must decide where you want to mount the E-Track. Vertical e-track is most commonly bolted onto the walls of your cargo trailer, although it can be mounted on the floor if you wish. Consider the type of cargo you will be hauling, and how you want the cargo positioned inside your enclosed trailer. What type of anchor points will you need and how many? Also consider the layout of your trailer, and note any fixed objects such as wheel wells, support studs, cabinets or doors, so that you can plan the design of your tie down system design around these elements.

To attach this painted e-track to the wall, use ¼" self-threading screws and place them into the pre-drilled holes. You should attach the E-Track with a screw at every 3rd, 4th or 5th hole on both sides. Keep in mind that your e-track is only as strong as the way it is mounted, and if possible you should try to fasten at least some of your vertical e-track directly over the studs in your trailer wall.
